In one of the more surprising collaborative moves in recent history, Adidas is officially acknowledging Hender Scheme's high-end reproductions of its own products by teaming up with the Japanese brand. According to Business of Fashion, the two will collaborate on Micropacers, NMDs, and Superstars. adidas superstar green After releasing a slew of rose and pink-hued Superstar 80s, adidas Originals is mixing things up with a new offering in a fresh shade of “Tactile Green”. The ’80s silhouette is updated with a perforated leather upper, contrasted by black panelling on the heel tab and Three Stripes branding on the lateral side. Complete with tonal laces and a chunky white midsole that complements the iconic shell toe, the sneaker is given an additional regal touch with metallic gold accents on the heel and tongue.


The single most popular sneaker seems to be the adidas superstar black, a style that has developed a devoted fandom in the past few years. One reason for the shoe’s popularity is its versatility: The Superstar is a kick that works with just about any clothing item, from a casual dress to jeans to a suit. Several other classic styles from the German footwear company have also proven their staying power, including the Stan Smith, which can be purchased with on-trend Velcro fasteners, and the Gazelle, which comes in chic colors like turquoise, millennial pink and mint green.


adidas superstar pink 80s had a minimalistic moment with new millennial pink iterations, but Three Stripes is back with a color burst on “Tactile Rose.” The upper is predominantly covered in rose leather, including the tongue and rear – the toe cap, however, is constructed with metal to chalk up some hard-edged moods. Adidas Originals elevated the Superstar, turning it into the Superstar Bold earlier this year. After releasing the platform silhouette in a handful of colorways already, Three Stripes finally delivers the cleanest of them all in “Running White.” The adidas superstar white shares the spirit of the ’70s favorite and keeps the rubber shell toe, except a stacked sole adds a few more inches of lift beneath the leather upper. All-white everything makes for a bright pop in any shoe rotation, but there’s also a new “Linen Green” iteration if you’re looking for a light touch of color.
