The thing does not expire, and that I see no reason it would not still work. The scrolls either triumph (20% chance) or neglect and ruin the merchandise. However, once I attempted to use Maple Story 2 Mesos something odd happened.

They kept failing and destroying the item. Nothing strange there, only bad luck. These triumphed all 3 times I used them. The equipment wasn't destroyed and revealed a +1 plus a slot was utilized. HOWEVER, the scroll added NO stats to the equipment just like it was supposed to.

Perhaps these scrolls no longer will work? Updates may have averted them? It is just strange I'd still have them in my stock, which you're still able to apply them, that they can fail and destroy items, and they can SEEM to succeed but really not use any of the improvements while still using up slots.

I was planning to use them on some immaterial lower level gear but if they won't work I will just toss them. I need to create room in my stock.
