Don't see Steve Smith continuing as Australia captain, says

ormer India skipper Sourav Ganguly was on Sunday not happy with the International Cricket Council's lenient decision to suspend Australia captain Steve Smith for only one Test.

Smith was suspended for one Test and was also fined 100 per cent of his match fee after he admitted to his role in ball-tampering on the third day of the third Test against South Africa in Cape Town.
Smith earlier stepped down as Australia's captain for the remainder of the third Test following a ball-tampering controversy that rocked the entire cricketing fraternity.
David Warner also stood down from his position as vice-captain. Wicketkeeper Tim Paine was handed over the reins.
"I think the ban of just one match and 100 per cent match fee is a bit soft. Ball-tampering is not match-fixing or criminal offence but what is going to remain with Steve Smith, Darren Lehmann, David Warner and even that substitute who was in the dug-out, is those walkie-talkie footages, is those instructions sent to a young cricketer to keep that sand paper in his hand to scratch the ball. While Smith had ruled out any involvement of coach Darren Lehmann, a video appeared on social media where the coach is seen sending a message to Bancroft via reserve player Peter Handscomb on a walkie-talkie.
Ganguly also said he doubts coach Darren Lehmann will continue to coach Australia.
"Ball-tampering has happened before. Bowlers and fielders have found different ways to get the ball roughened up on one side. But the orchestra which was behind it and the way it has happened, the way it was hidden immediately when the camera was on, will leave a very bad taste for everyone who's seen it. With so much of television, I really found the Australian team management very, very stupid.
