The New Balance 1550 is a bit of a hybrid sneaker. New Balance created the shoe by combining features from both the 1500 and 1600 model to create this brand new silhouette. Just because it’s a hybrid doesn’t mean it can’t attempt to have its own look. It does just that with this brand new offering. The new balance 1550 white is constructed out of a mesh and suede upper. The majority of the upper comes in a Yellow colorway, while the hits of White on the midsole and outline branding act as the contrasting colorway. Gving the shoe some added pop are the reflective hits found on the underlay placed below the mesh layer.


The new balance 1550 grey will come in a black upper made out of mesh and several different synthetic materials. The upper will also come equipped with a reflective “N” branding on the side panels. Contrasting the black look are the hits of grey and orange throughout the shoe. The shoe is made out of a synthetic and mesh upper all done in a Black colorway. Branding appears on both the tongue and side panels, while a REVlite midsole assure that not only will you rock a stealth look, you will also be comfortable while doing it.


The New Balance 1550 Modern Classics Pack consists of two pairs of the new balance 1550 green coming in a tonal fashion. It’s a hybrid model derived from combining the aesthetics of the 1500 and 1600. The two pairs in the pack will come in Slate Blue and Nimbus Cloud. Both colorways are done in a smooth suede and mesh upper coming in a tonal motif that give the shoe a modern classic look . Perforation hits are placed throughout to provide some nice ventilation and breathability for your feet. Additional features on the shoe include the matching laces, the “N” logo on the side panels, and NB’s renowned REVlite midsole in clean white for additional support.


New Balance isn’t necessarily the go-to brand for lifestyle looks but they’ve just launched a new model that could possibly change that designation.
