GENEVA Authentic Brendan Leipsic Jersey , Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- One of the five seriously injured passengers in the train derailment accident happened last week in Graubuenden canton in eastern Switzerland died in hospital on Friday, police said.

The Graubuenden cantonal police told Xinhua that the 85-year-old man from Lucerne of central Switzerland died from his injures Friday morning in hospital, being the first fatality of the accident.

Police did not disclose the conditions of other four heavily injured.

On Aug. 13, a train was detailed near Tiefencastel on the line between Chur and the ski resort St. Moritz by a landslide resulting from heavy rains, leaving five severely injured and six others slightly wounded, all of whom have been transported to nearby hospitals.

Among the injured, there were two Japanese and one Australian, the rest were Swiss.

Police said that around 200 passengers were on the train, and three train wagons were derailed by the landslide, one of which was fortunately stopped by trees after it slid ten meters along a steep slope and did not fall into the bottom of the ravine.

All passengers were rescued and there were no fatalities on site.

SHANGHAI SIPG’s new record-signing Hulk needed just 8-12 minutes to prove his value, scoring the opener in SIPG’s 5-0 Chinese Super League romp over Henan Jianye at Shanghai Stadium last night.

However, it was a bitter-sweet debut for the Brazilian international, who was taken off the pitch on a stretcher just 19 minutes after kick-off.

Hulk joined SIPG earlier this month on a reported 55.8-million euro (US$61.9 million) transfer from Zenit St Petersburg. Making his SIPG debut, the 30-year-old burly forward was often defended by three or four Henan defenders whenever he had the ball.

Hulk’s goal came off a right-wing cross from Wu Lei, the Brazilian stabbing the ball home, beating two defenders.

However, five minutes later, Hulk was lying on the pitch after seemingly pulling his left leg muscle. Reluctant to end his debut too early, the Brazilian held on for another few minutes, but fell on the grass again in the 19th after contact with a rival player. Coach Sven-Goran Eriksson then substituted him with Lu Wenjun. The club did not say how serious the injury was.

Elkeson took over the attack from his compatriot, scoring SIPG’s second goal in the 32nd.

Any chance of a Henan comeback was stymied in the 37th when defender Li Xiaoming was given a second yellow card for a dangerous tackle. SIPG was hardly pressured in the second half as Wu, Lu and Jean Evrard Kouassi scored to settle the final score at 5-0.

The victory helped SIPG climb up to a shared third-place in the standings on 30 points, same as Hebei China Fortune, which lost 0-2 to Guangzhou R&F.

Another Shanghai team Greenland Shenhua lost 0-2 to Yanbian Funde in Yanji, Jilin Province, on Saturday. The hosts were given a penalty in the 67th after a foul in the box by Shenhua’s South Korean defender Kim Kee-hee. Yanbian’s Serbian defender Nikola Petkovic scored from the spot. The second goal came in the 88th when Shenhua goalie Li Shuai left the box for a clearance but missed the ball, leaving an empty goal for Yanbian’s Kim Seung-dae to score.

Shenhua is fifth on 25 points. Spanish head coach Gregorio Manzano insisted afterwards that his team was the better side in the match, if only the players had seized their chances and had better luck.

In another match, Guangzhou Evergrande beat Chongqing Lifan 4-1 to maintain its lead at the top, it has 42 points.

In a Saturday match, Shandong Luneng ended its 10-match winless streak by beating second-ranked Jiangsu Suning 2-1 in Shandong. Argentine midfielder Walter Montillo contributed a brace.

Earlier in the day, Shandong announced the signing of former Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse through its official website. The deal was reportedly worth 2.5 million pounds (US$3.24 million), and the 31-year-old Senegal international will reportedly receive 3 million pounds a season.

Apple Inc (AAPL.O) is expected to launch a smaller, cheaper iPhone on Monday aimed at emerging markets and possibly China, the world's biggest buyer of smartphones, as it looks to reverse a decline in worldwide sales of its most important product.

The launch of such a phone - expected to be called the iPhone SE - would represent Apple's second bid for the crowded mid-tier market after an unsuccessful foray three years ago.

It might give the world's best-known technology company a boost in the fast-growing Indian, Middle East and African markets, but also risks cutting its average phone prices and profit margins.

"The iPhone SE provides a new incentive to upgrade for iPhone holdouts who don't want a large-screen phone," said analyst Bob O'Donnell of TECHnalysis Research.

A less expensive iPhone could appeal to emerging markets customers, said O'Donnell, but is not a sure-fire hit, as it may still be pricier than competitors running Google's Android system, and many in emerging markets have already developed a taste for larger screens.

Apple has invited reporters to an auditorium at its Cupertino, California headquarters in Silicon Valley on Monday, a cozy venue compared with the massive San Francisco stages where it typically unveils new iPhones and major products.

As is its tradition, Apple has been silent about what is on offer, but technology and financial analysts predict a cheaper, entry-level phone with a screen around 4 inches (10 cm) that still runs some of the latest features such as Apple Pay.

The more compact design comes after its move to expand the size of the screens in its high-end iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus phones in 2014, featuring a screen as large as 5.5 inches. That was broadly seen as an attempt to match rival Samsung Electronics with its large-screen Galaxy phones.
